Biological ClusterThe Biological Chemistry Cluster provides a unique collaborative environment for training of students and post-docs. Faculty members are drawn from two schools, the College (of Arts and Sciences and Engineering) and the Medical School. These schools are conveniently located on adjacent campuses. Research interests in the Cluster span the fields of biomolecular sensing, computational biology, enzymology, nanotechnology, structural biology (using NMR and x-ray crystallography), and synthetic chemistry. Members of the Cluster are brought together for social events throughout the year and for an annual retreat that is held each summer. The cluster hosts speakers of interest for both the departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry & Biophysics.
Students interested in graduate training in the Cluster may apply for graduate school in the Chemistry Department.
